Roger Mooking has earned an international reputation as a chef and lifestyle expert showcasing his globally inspired vision. Roger is best known as a television host, expert and judge of many beloved cooking shows over the past 15 years. His expertise in grilling and barbeque comes from traveling the globe shooting television shows and attending food festivals that specialize in live-fire cooking including whole hog barbecue, lobster boils, Hawaiian emu’s, seafood roasts and more!
The Trinidadian-born, Canadian-raised chef is influenced by his culturally rich family background, his love of people and travel, and interest in global flavors to create new culinary experiences.
Over the years, Roger has garnered many accolades including the prestigious “Premiers Award” for excellence in the field of Creative Arts and Design, a Gourmand World Cookbook Award, a Socan Classics Award, the “Roger Mooking Culinary Award” and scholarship in partnership with Frontline’s Toronto and Second Harvest, and countless “Best Of” restaurant mentions.
Although Roger may be one of the busiest men in the entertainment world, being a husband and father of four daughters is most important to him.
